# Create your stablecoin

> Launch, manage, and scale a branded stablecoin with a fully regulated US issuer.

MoonPay enables you to launch a US-regulated, branded stablecoin without building the regulatory, custody, or smart contract stack yourself. MoonPay USA LLC acts as issuer of record, handling licensing, reserve custody, compliance, and mint and burn execution. You keep the brand, the economics, and the user experience.

## How it works

<Steps>
  <Step title="Configure your stablecoin">
    Define token name, ticker, supported chains (EVM and/or Solana), rewards recipient address, and access controls. Iron deploys audited smart contracts on your behalf through our partnership with M0.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Mint via API or Dashboard">
    Authorized counterparties send USD (wire, SWIFT, ACH), USDC, or USDT to Iron. Iron places funds in a segregated reserve account and mints the matching supply to the destination wallet.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Reserves are managed automatically">
    MoonPay holds reserves in GENIUS-compliant assets. Reserve accounts are segregated and designed to protect holders in line with GENIUS regulations.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Rewards accrue on-chain">
    Rewards accrue per block to outstanding supply and compound continuously, then distribute as newly minted tokens to your designated recipient address.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Redeem at any time">
    Iron burns the stablecoin, releases funds from the reserve account, and pays out. No minimums, no volume caps.

  The mint and burn window for USD wire, SWIFT, and ACH rails is Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM ET (previous day) to 5:00 PM ET. Requests received after 5:00 PM ET are processed at the start of the next window. Stablecoin-funded mints and redemptions (USDC, USDT) are not subject to this window.
