Overarching
- Partners: Those are companies integrating our API to serve stablecoin payment functionality to their end customers. Iron > Partner > Customer.
- Customers: Those are the ultimate end customers (Business or individual) using the Iron-powered services. We also have a B2B frontend to serve customers directly, but this is not our main product. Iron > Partner > Customer or Iron > BusinessCustomer
- User: individual associated with a Partner organization (e.g. developer, compliance officer, operations lead) who is granted access to the Iron Dashboard (app.iron.xyz). Users can view transactions, manage API configurations, monitor customer activity, and handle compliance workflows. Users are managed at the Partner level and must have assigned roles and permissions within the dashboard.

- The Partner contracts directly with Iron to integrate and use Iron’s services, either for its own operational purposes or to serve its customers.
- The Partner may act as a customer of Iron and use Iron’s autoramp services while simultaneously onboarding end customers who also become direct customers of Iron.
- The Partner embeds Iron’s infrastructure into its platform and facilitates onboarding and access for its end customers, based on one of the approved onboarding frameworks (KYC reliance, outsourcing, or direct onboarding).

Customer Overview
To begin utilising Iron’s services, every customer must complete an onboarding process. This ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, validates the Customer’s identity, and establishes their eligibility to trade. The onboarding process is facilitated by the Partner, who acts as the liaison between the Customer and Iron.Customer onboarded via a Partner (B2B2X)
The Customer is the end entity that indirectly engages with Iron’s services through a Partner in a B2B2B or B2B2C model. The Customer is the entity utilising Iron’s services as facilitated by the Partner. The Customer is the end-customer who utilizes Iron’s services, facilitated through a Partner, under a B2B2B or B2B2C setup. Regardless of the onboarding model applied - KYC reliance, KYC outsourcing, or direct onboarding - the Customer is always considered a direct customer of Iron.Key Points:
- Although the Customer accesses Iron’s services through a Partner, the legal and compliance relationship is established directly between the Customer and Iron.
- The Partner facilitates access to Iron’s services but does not act as the service provider.
- Iron remains responsible for the Customer’s compliance oversight, including onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and transaction review - either directly or through reliance/outsourcing arrangements
Direct Business Customer (B2B)
In a traditional B2B relationship, Iron provides services directly to a business client, who acts as the end customer. The client uses Iron’s infrastructure—such as stablecoin payments, on/off-ramps, or wallet services—for its own operational needs only. The relationship is exclusive, with no redistribution of services to third parties. Under this model, the business cannot onboard or expose its own customers to Iron’s infrastructure. It’s designed for companies using crypto services for internal treasury, payroll, settlement, or back-office functions—not for resale or integration into their own products.Key Points:
- A direct commercial relationship between Iron and another business
- The business (the client) is the end customer of Iron’s services.
- No Downstream Access: The B2B client cannot onboard its own customers to Iron or give them access to Iron’s services.
- Use Case Example: A fintech company integrates Iron to access stablecoin rails for its internal treasury operations. It does not offer Iron’s services to its own clients.
